I don’t know about you, but my days are always go, go, go and work, work, work. Since I’m usually on the move, it’s difficult to pause and relax for 10 minutes. I tend to skip meals and end up feeling exhausted by the end of the day. Now, I am allotting a mandatory lunch break for myself, which is really increasing my productivity. So… fortunately, I’m on the road to a more efficient lunch, which leads to a much better day!
I thought I would share 3 quick lunch break tips that lead to a more productive day.
Tip # 1
Have meal options that you look forward to.
Tai Pei Frozen Fried Rice has been a lifesaver for me! I have the bad habit of skipping lunch altogether, so having a quick and tasty meal option keeps me from missing meals. With Tai Pei single serve entrees, I can have a delicious meal ready in less than 10 minutes. With their new, convenient packaging, you just need the microwave to prepare your meal! Tai Pei also comes in a wide variety of flavors, so there’s no room for boredom here.
Tai Pei’s single serving line of entrees mainly features Asian inspired frozen food, made with quality ingredients. My favorite flavor is the Sweet & Sour Chicken; it has chunks of pineapple and veggies along with flavor-infused rice! YUM!

Tip # 2
Get moving!
I use my lunch break as an opportunity to take Danni on a long walk. When you sit at a desk all day, it’s hard to squeeze in some physical activity. Today, while my Tai Pei entree was heating up, I took Danni outside and we ran around for a little bit. We were both feeling much happier afterwards! Another way to get moving is to try a quick 10 minute workout routine. There are tons of options on Pinterest!
Tip # 3
Do something you really enjoy doing.
For me this is either some online shopping or chatting with my mom on the phone. Spending a few minutes doing something you love will make getting back on task so much easier. I usually feel more inspired after talking to my mom during my breaks!
